With the advancement of biopharmaceutical technology and the growing emphasis on life science industries, high-quality biologics demand premium raw materials. MULTIT™ Nuclease addresses the shortage of critical bioprocessing enzymes — engineered for robust host nucleic acid removal in vaccine production, viral vectors, and cell therapy workflows.
Product Overview
MULTIT™ Nuclease (broad-spectrum nuclease) is a non-restriction endonuclease derived from Serratia marcescens. It efficiently degrades all forms of DNA and RNA (double-stranded, single-stranded, linear, circular, or supercoiled) under a wide range of conditions (6 M Urea, 0.1 M Guanidine HCl, 0.4% Triton X-100, 0.1% SDS, 1 mM EDTA, 1 mM PMSF), generating 3–5 nucleotide fragments with 5'-phosphate termini. Ideal for host nucleic acid removal in biopharmaceuticals.
Engineered and expressed in E. coli, the production process uses no antibiotics, is animal-origin-free, and complies with GMP standards, minimizing contamination risks. With high purity, robust activity, and no detectable protease activity, it is widely trusted in research, cell therapy, and viral vector vaccine manufacturing.
